Sun Life Financial Inc reported better-than-expected earnings per share, which indicates strong performance in a difficult environment. However, the stock fell by 3.56% on the day, likely due to investor concerns about the lack of revenue details and forward guidance. The cautious tone from management may have also contributed to the stock's decline as investors seek clearer signals about future performance.
